DHAKA: A youth was killed as he was thrown from an under-construction building in Shantinagar area of the capital on Tuesday noon.

The deceased was identified as Jamal, 35.

Witness Harun said that Jamal along with three others was taking drug in the building. They locked into an altercation centering a trifle matter. At one stage, they pushed Jamal from the building and he fell down.

Police sources said, on information, they rushed to the spot and found Jamal in a critical condition.

They sent him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.

Paltan Thana Sub-Inspector Shyamol Debnath confirmed the matter to banglanews.
