Police have arrested 1,187 more crime suspects in the past 24 hours as part of the ongoing nationwide crackdown against troublemakers.

According to the Police Headquarters, 741 of those arrested were wanted in previous cases and pending warrants, while 446 others were detained on various criminal charges.

During the operation, law enforcement officers also seized a Chinese axe.
