The consulate office of Zambia formally was inaugurated in Bangladesh today (May 14), aiming to expand trade and investment relations between two friendly countries.
The event, held at a city hotel, was organized by the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) of Bangladesh, Zambia’s Ministry of Commerce, and the Zambia Development Agency, among others.
EPB Vice Chairman Md Anwar Hossain highlighted Bangladesh’s growing export potential and Zambia’s strategic location as a trade gateway to Southern and Central Africa.
Zambian and Bangladeshi officials emphasized mutual opportunities in sectors like agriculture, manufacturing, ICT, and apparel.
