Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecast that Nor’westers and hailstorm are likely to occur in six districts across the country today (Saturday).

Meteorologist Hafizur Rahman said rain along with thundershower may occur at places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Khulna and few other places of Sylhet division for next 24 hours starting from 9am.

Earlier, three regions of the country experienced heavy rains. According to Meteorological Department, Dhaka recorded 19mm rain, Mymensingh recorded 5mm rain and Cumilla recorded 4mm rain from 6am on Friday to 6am Saturday.

The lowest temperature 17.5 degree Celsius was recorded in Tetulia while  21.3 degree Celsius was recorded in Dhaka on Saturday morning.

Day and night temperature may increase slightly.
