Bangladesh-India joint taskforce to prevent human trafficking Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal addressing as chief guest at a national conference

DHAKA: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said the government, in a bid to prevent human trafficking, is working with the neighboring countries and already formed a joint task force with India. 

He made the remark while addressing as chief guest at a national conference in Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) on Tuesday morning (Nov 28).

The minister said Illegal migration is the outcome of human trafficking. It is also a main reason behind illegal labour and commercial prostitution. The government is working in regional and international arenas to prevent human trafficking.
