A Narayanganj court today showed former mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation, Selina Hayat Ivy, arrested in two more cases, including one for murder.

Senior Judicial Magistrate Shahidul Islam Chowdhury passed the order after a hearing, during which Ivy appeared virtually from Kashimpur Central Jail. 

With this, she has been shown arrested in three out of five cases filed against her in the district.

The two latest cases were filed with Siddirganj Police Station—one over the murder of Tuhin, who died after being shot near the Dhaka-Chattogram Highway on July 20 last year, and another for the attempted murder of hawker Nadim during, last year’s student movement.
