38-kg gold seized at Shah Amanat

CHITTAGONG: Customs intelligence seized 325 gold bars weighing 38-kg from Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong on Tuesday morning.

Intelligence sources said that 288 gold bars were found in an abandon condition at a toilet in the airport.

Moreover, 37 gold bars were seized from a passenger of Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Dubai.

According to the custom officials, the gold bars will be worth of Taka around 16.25-crore.
