DHAKA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday wished that the countrymen would pass a happy year by welcoming the Bangla New Year 1422.

She voiced the hope while exchanging greetings of new year at Gana Bhaban in the morning.

The premier further said the countrymen did not pass good days for around 90 days.

“People were burnt alive, buses and trains were set on fire, in the name of movements,” she added.

She also posed question saying how BNP did that.

She also said general people along with maw enforcers put a stop to the politics of BNP filled with violence.
