DHAKA: The government on Monday has formed core committee headed-by divisional commissioner in each division to maintain law and order situation across the country.

Cabinet Division issued an order regarding the matter.

As per jurisdiction, the committee will take necessary measure instantly in collecting information from different sources and bringing the situation under control, the government order added.

The other members of the committee- metropolitan police commissioner, BGB region commander,  deputy inspector general of police, head of division office of DGFI, Commander of RAB, Coast Guard Zonal Commander, head of division office of NSI, Ansar and VDP director and Highway Police Super.

The order issued on Sunday, was released on Monday, said additional Divisional Commissioner of concerned division was made member secretary of the committee.
