DHAKA: An unidentified man aged around 30-year was beaten to death near BG press gate in city’s Tejgaon industrial area on Tuesday.

Industrial Thana Sub-Inspector (SI) Rokonuddin said the deceased was a drug addict.

According to the SI, the victim was severely beaten by another addict while he went to the place for sleeping.

However, police around 10:00am recovered the body which bore injury marks in head, forehead and other parts of the body.

Later, it was sent to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
