MADARIPUR: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident in Gobindapur area of Rajoir upazila in the district on Tuesday.

The deceased were identified as Mizan Howlader, 35, of Kotalipara upazila in Gopalganj and Shamim Munshi, 32, from Bogra district.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) Anwar Bhuiyan of Rajoir Thana confirmed the matter.

He said motorcyclist Mizan carrying Shamim were going to Kotalipara from Rajoir when a speedy bus crushed into their vehicle in the area around 11:00am, leaving them dead on the spot.

On information, police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
