FROM JATIYA SANGSAD: Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu on Wednesday said it would be possible to initiate government facilities to online media after formulating ‘online media policy’.

The information minister made the assertion while addressing parliament in response to a question from Kazi Firoz Rashid, Opposition Jatiya Party lawmaker. 

He told the House: “We have taken the initiative to compose ‘Online Media Policy-2014’ as there is no such policy in the country now.”

Inu also informed the House that this will also help online media to receive government facilities.
