DHAKA: An unidentified child was crushed under the wheels of a train in Zoar Sahara area of Cantonment in city on Wednesday.

Officer-in-Charge of Government Railway Police (GRP) Abdul Majid confirmed the matter to banglanews saying the child was killed as a Dhaka-bound train hit and crushed him.

GRP police recovered the body from Joar Sahara rail line which is 200 yards away from Cantonment Rail Station. 

The body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
