FROM PARLIAMENT: The budget session of the Jatiya Sangsad resumed at 11.03am Wednesday with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.     

At first, the ministers have been attending general question-answer session over the proposed budget for fiscal year 2014-15.

The session of the new parliament started on January 29 that ended on April 10. 

The first budget session starts on June 3 that will prolong to July 3 and the new fiscal year’s budget is likely to be approved on June 29.

Jatiya Party, as part of the government and main opposition party, joined the parliament, from the first day of the maiden session. 

For the first time, the opposition party is trying to raise their voice in the parliament leaving behind the tradition of boycotting the parliament.
