Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus today congratulated all involved in the successful launch of Starlink in Bangladesh.
The message was conveyed through a statement by Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, posted on the Chief Adviser’s verified Facebook account this morning.
Starlink officially confirmed the launch via a post on X, stating, “Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency internet is now available in Bangladesh!”
Two packages—Starlink Residential (Tk 6,000/month) and Residential Lite (Tk 4,200/month)—are available, with a one-time equipment cost of Tk 47,000. Users can enjoy unlimited data with speeds up to 300 Mbps.
Customers in Bangladesh can begin ordering the service from today. Azad noted that the goal of launching Starlink within 90 days has been met.
