DHAKA: A quinquagenarian man died of heatstroke in Mughda area of the city on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Mantaz Uddin, 50, who used to work as the caretaker of house in Maniknagar of the area.

Neighbour Rakibuddin told banglanews: “Mantaz went to the 7-storied house’s roof to water the flower plant at 11:00am there, at one stage; he fell down due to a heavy headache.”

He was rushed to a local hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, as his condition deteriorated, where on duty doctor declared him dead at 12:00 noon.
 
Doctor at DMCH said he might have died of huge heat temperature and was brought dead to the hospital.
