DHAKA: A fire broke out at the CRP Hospital of Mirpur in the city on Friday evening.

On information, 10 units of Fire Service brought the blaze under control around 7:20pm after trying for an hour.

Earlier, in the evening fire broke out at the seventh and eighth floor of the building, said Fire Service headquarters.

The reason of the fire could not be known immediately.

Dr Narayan Chakrabarti of the hospital told banglanews that there were 60 patients in the hospital whom they rescued safely.
