National Security Adviser Dr Khalilur Rahman met US Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau in Washington, DC, on Wednesday. 

They discussed the Rohingya crisis, Bangladesh-US tariff talks, South Asian developments, and Bangladesh’s democratic transition.

Landau praised Professor Muhammad Yunus's leadership and reaffirmed US support for Bangladesh. 

Khalilur also met Assistant US Trade Representative Brendan Lynch and held productive talks on reciprocal tariff agreements.
