DHAKA: Police detained three young men over lynching a woman in Badda of the capital city suspecting her a 'children grabber'.
Jafor, Shahin and Bappy were nabbed from Badda Sunday (July 21) night.
"They were identified in a video footage filmed with mobile phone," Badda Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rafiqul Islam told Banglanews.
40-year-old Taslima Begum Renu was killed in a lynch mob attack, suspecting her to be a 'children grabber', after she had gone to a school in North Badda to get information to enroll her daughter Saturday (July 20) morning.
The deceased's nephew Nasir Uddin, as a plaintiff, filed a case with Badda Police Station accusing some 400-500 unnamed people.
