DHAKA: A team of Rapid Action Battalion detained three active members of human trafficking circle from Fakirapool of the capital.  

The detainees were--Abul Bashar, 45, Kamruzzaman, 44 and Osman Gani, 47, according to a press release issued from RAB-3 on Monday (September 16).

Some unscrupulous men, of Fakirapool area under Paltan police station, were making passports of simple-minded people of rural areas in order to send them abroad. They had long been doing this deceitful activity by keeping money forcefully on the pretext of passport making, operation officer of RAB-3 A. B.M Faizul Islam told Banglanews.

On secret information, a RAB-3 team raided Fakirapool area and detained 3 of their members. At that time, 65 passports, 20 birth certificates and other necessary documents were seized. Legal action is in process against the 3 detainees, RAB official also said.
