DHAKA: In a latest development, the government has reshuffled 17 higher ranks officers of police administration including three additional commissioners of police.

DMP media and publications deputy police commissioner SM Jahangir Alam Sarkar confirmed the matter to media Friday noon.

Regarding the matter, an order was issued signed by deputy police commissioner (headquarters and administration) on Thursday as per order of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) commissioner.

Among the transferred police officers, additional police commissioner M Shahab Uddin Koreishi was transferred as additional police commissioner (Admin Inspection and Audit), additional police commissioner Sheikh Muhammad Maruf Hasan BPM was transferred as additional police commissioner (Crimes and Operation), additional police commissioner Mohammad Ibrahim Fatemi BPM, PPM was posted to transferred Logistic, Finance and Procurement department as additional police commissioner.
