DHAKA: India’s West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee will arrive in Dhaka on Friday night as part of the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She will leave Kolkata by Air India flight AI203 at 7:20pm Friday, a day before the arrival of Narendra Modi in his two-day visit from June 6, said sources concerned.
The flight, carrying the West Bengal CM and her delegation, is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport around 9:10pm.
It will be her second visit to Bangladesh after assuming power as West Bengal CM.
She will leave Bangladesh on Saturday (June 6) after attending some official programs between Narendra Modi and his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Bangladesh at 10:15am Saturday.
Modi will stay at Pan Pacific Sonargaon hotel while Mamata Banerjee at Radisson Blu hotel in city.
However, the West Bengal chief minister will accompany Modi during exchange of instruments of ratification of the historic Land Boundary Agreement (LBA).
Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be also present at the ceremony.
