DHAKA: A three-day laptop fair will begin at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the city on Thursday.
Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu is expected to inaugurate the show, said organizers in a press conference at executive lounge of BICC on Monday.
Top brands such as Apple, Dell, HP, Acer, Lenovo, Toshiba, Gigabyte, Compaq, Samsung, Fujitsu, Gateway, Asus, MSI, BenQ and will be on display at the venue, said fair convener Nahid Hasnain Siddiqui.
The theme of the display, 15th Dhaka Laptop Fair, is "Laptop for All”.
The fair will remain open from 10:30am to 10:00pm, said Sultan Mahmud, event co-coordinator of the fair, at a press meet at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka yesterday.
The entry fee for the show of 50 stalls and seven pavilions is fixed at Tk 30 a person. Students’ upto secondary school levels can entry the fair without fee. Title sponsor of the show is techshahar.com.
