MUNSHIGANJ: A thunderbolt hurt 15 students of Banglabazar Baniyal High School in sadar upazila of Munshiganj on Monday morning.

Among the injured Sadia (11), Zakia (13), Nipa (11), Mayna Akhtar (14), Happy (11), Sumaiya (12), Sifat (15) and Khukumoni (11) are admitted at Munshiganj General Hospital while the others at different clinics of the district.

Baniyal High School headmaster Mohammad Zakir Hossain told banglanews that a group of students gathered on the corridor of the school during storm in the morning.

A thunderbolt stroke them leaving 15 students injured, he added.

According to him, the injured were immediately rushed to Munshiganj General Hospital and different clinics.
