DHAKA: Several student organizations, including Progressive Student Front, besieged the office of AASM Arefin Siddique, vice-chancellor of Dhaka University on Wednesday.

The besiege program was arranged at 12:00pm as a protest of sexual harassment of some women during Pahela Baishakh celebration near TSC area on the university campus.

The protesting students also demanded immediate arrest of the culprits and chanted slogans against the failure of the authorities concerned in arresting the criminals.
