Gunfight kills outlaw in Jessore

JESSORE: A member of Biplobi Communist Party was gunned down at a gun battle between two groups of outlaw at Abhoynagar upazila of the district on Wednesday dawn. 

The deceased was identified as Siraj Akunji, 40, son of Afsar Akunji of Shuvarara village under the upazila.  

Abhaynagar Police Station officer-in-charge Mollah Khabir Uddin said on information of gunfight between the two groups of outlaws police rushed to the spot and recovered body of Siraj and one shooter gun.
          
Siraj was listed accused in 12 cases including three murder cases, the OC added.

Police sent the body to Jessore Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
