DHAKA: A youth was killed and two others injured in DOHS area of cantonment Thana in city early.

The deceased was identified as Shamim, 19, son of Abdus Sobahan, hailed from Amtali of Barguna.

Family sources said that a private car rammed the motorbike ridding by the victim along with his two friends in the area around 12:30am, leaving the three injured critically.

Later, the injured were rushed to a private hospital at Gulshan and shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where Shamim died under treatment.
