TANGAIL: A man was killed and 30 others sustained injuries in a road accident on Dhaka-Tangail highway in Mirzapur upazila of the district Wednesday.

Details of the deceased and the injured could not be known immediately.
 
Witnesses said a Dhaka-bound passenger bus named Mahanagar fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering in Asimtala area of Jamuri Union Parisahd at 11:00am, leaving one dead and 30 more injured.

The injured were admitted to Mirzapur Kumudini Hospital. Of them, the condition of two is critical.

Gorai highway police outpost Officer-In-Charge Abu Zobayed confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
