RANGPUR: US envoy to Dhaka Dan W Mozena said that America is always beside the democracy of Bangladesh.

He also added, the government of Bangladesh has to solve own problems.

The US envoy came up with the observation while addressing a press briefing at Rangpur Parjatan Motel on Saturday morning.

About his experience visiting northern region, Dan Mozena said, river erosion, lack of education and mode of communications are major problems here. Besides, industrial factory can’t be established here for want of fuel and gas.

Later Mozena expressed hope that very soon Bangladesh will become middle-income country solving these problems.

Over recent elections, he said USA will be always beside the democracy of Bangladesh.
