Saudi Arabia has temporarily suspended the issuance of block work visa quotas for 14 countries, including Bangladesh, until the end of June, coinciding with the Hajj season, reports Arab Times Kuwait.

The suspension, announced by the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, aims to regulate inbound labor and ensure smooth management during the peak pilgrimage period.

Affected countries include Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Indonesia, and several others. Block work visas allow Saudi employers to hire foreign workers under a set quota system.
