DHAKA: A 40-year-old dengue patient from Chandpur sadar died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) early Thursday (August 22).

Gias Uddin breathed his last at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) around 6:30am, his uncle Md Nabi Ullah told Banglanews. 

The patient was taken to DMCH Wednesday (August 21) after he was diagnosed with dengue.

He also had some other problems, said DMCH Director Brig Gen AKM Nasir uddin.
