MADARIPUR: Two people were killed in a road accident on Dhaka-Barisal highway in Kalkini upazila on Wednesday (June 19).

Identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Golam Kibria, officer in charge of Dasar Police Station, told Banglanews that a passenger bus collided head-on with a truck in Bangabridge area at noon, leaving two people dead on the spot.
