Police recovered the bodies of a woman and her daughter in Naogaon Tulagachtala area of Dhaka’s Kamrangirchar this morning (July 24).

The deceased were identified as Fulbashi, 35 and her minor daughter Sumi, 11.

Mostafizur Rahman, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kamrangirchar Police Staion, said they might have been murdered as the bodies bore injury marks on their necks.

The bodies will be sent to the hospital morgue for autopsies, he said.

Meanwhile, police arrested Fulbashi’s husband Mukundra Chandra Das in this connection.
