DHAKA: Newly elected Mayors and Councilors of Dhaka South, Dhaka North and Chittagong city corporations took oath at Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday morning.
PM Sheikh Hasina administered the oath of Mayors of three cities while Local Government Minister Syed Ashraful Islam administered the oath of the councilors at around 10:30am.
The elections held in city cities on April 28 amid boycott of BNP-backed candidates raising allegations of massive rigging.
