DHAKA UNIVERSITY: Two persons, including a student and a shop employee were injured as a shed of Surja Sen Hall of Dhaka University collapsed in a sudden gale on Wednesday morning.

Witnesses said that some students took shelter under the shed, in front of the hall’s game room due to the rain and strong-wind.

Suddenly the shed collapsed, the witnesses said adding, people who were under the shed managed to escape the place while two of them were injured.

One of the injured, a shop employee was identified as Shah Paran while name of the other, a student, could not be known immediately.

As in the previous days, over 40 students were having breakfast sitting under the shed. But when storm began, they left the place and then the shed collapsed.
