Election Commissioner Md Anwarul Islam Sarker today (September 7) said that the overall environment for holding the 13th national election is fully favorable.

"We think that the environment for holding the election is 100 percent in favor. So far, we don't see any unfavorable situation," he told reporters at the Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital’s Agargaon.

In response to a question about possible uncertainty over the upcoming polls, the Election Commissioner said, "The Commission does not think so... We have already announced our roadmap."
