RANGPUR: Another burn victim of Gaibandha arson attack on a passenger bus succumbed to his injuries at Rangpur Medical College Hospital on Saturday night.

The death toll has risen to seven now in the incident.

The ill fated person was identified as Saju Mia,45, who received 60 percent burn injuries in the arson attack.

Rangpur Medical College Hospital Acting Director Abdul Kader Khan confirmed the matter to banglanews.

Earlier on Friday night, six people, including two children, were burnt alive and 29 suffered burns when suspected blockaders hurled petrol bomb at a passenger bus in Tulshighat area on Gaibandha-Polashbari road.

On arrival at Tulshighat around 10:45pm, miscreants hurled petrol bomb at the bus, leaving the casualties, sources said.
