DHAKA: A yarn shop was gutted at a market adjacent to Petrobangla Bhaban in the capital on Saturday evening.

Sources said that the fire originated from an unknown source at the building’s second floor around 6:30pm.

On information, eight fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze, sources added.

Fire Service and Civil Defense control room, confirming the matter, said that the extent of damage could not be known immediately.
