DHAKA: The second day’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations for 2015 were held on Saturday amid the nationwide blockade sponsored by the BNP-led 20-party alliance.

The examinations started at 10:00am and continued till 1:00pm.

On the other hand, the decision on next exams scheduled for Sunday and Tuesday will be taken in afternoon as BNP-led alliance called fresh spell of 72-hour hartal across the country from Sunday.

Bangla 2nd part, Sahaj Bangla 2nd part, Bangla Language and Bangladesh Culture under eight general education boards and Bangla-2 (1921), and Bangla-2 (8121) under the vocational board were held on the day.

Earlier, the education ministry had shifted the examinations, which were scheduled to be held on February 4, to February 7.
