DHAKA: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, adviser to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Information Communication Technology (ICT) and also her son, on Friday categorically said “those who talk about talks are nothing but mad”.

Joy made the remark while addressing a seminar titled ‘Terrorism versus Politics’ at a city hotel in the evening.

Indicating the 20-party he said no reason can ensure us that talks would stop violence.

“They have chosen the path of violence, burning people to death. Why we will have talks with those who have chosen the path of violence?” he added.

He also forewarned the BNP-Jamaat men saying to leave the path of violence.

There can be no talks with those who are committing violence like IS extremists, he added.
