DINAJPUR: The members of India’s Border Security Force (BSF) shot dead a Bangladeshi youth and injured another in Achintapur frontier under Birampur upazila of the district on Monday.

However, identities of the victims could not be known immediately.

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB)-29 Battalion Commander Colonel Jahidur Rashid confirmed the matter to banglanews.

It happened around 7:00am in the area, the commander added.
