DHAKA: Some 50 non-political organizations are set to hold a rally in city on Friday afternoon protesting the ongoing political unrest, violence in the name of hartal and blockade.

Among the hosts Gonojagoron Mancha, Gourab Ekattor, Praner Ekattor, Blogger and Online Activities Networks are mentionable.

However, SM Shahin, the general secretary of Gourab Ekattor, said that they will hold a protest rally against the ongoing political unrest on central Shaheed Minar premises around 3:00pm.

He also said that Dhaka University Professor Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, eminent personalities from cultural arena, prominent journalists among others are likely to join the rally.
