DHAKA: Prime minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at the demise of former chief justice Mustafa Kamal.

Hasina, in her condolence message, said an eventful chapter of Bangladesh judicial service has been ended with the death of the former chief justice.

He was always vocal to establish the rule of law and constant freedom of judiciary.

The premier prayed for the peace of his departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
