FROM KAMLAPUR: The schedule of train service has collapsed from Saturday noon which caused immense sufferings to homebound passengers ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Sources said that six trains left platform till 9:30am and among those three trains left station lately. 

Rail Station sources said that the schedule collapsed from Saturday noon and from then no trains could not leave station in time. 

Following the schedule collapse, a train jam was created in Kamlapur rail station and for this, other trains could not leave platform due time.

Ahead of Eid congregation, the rail stations saw huge rush of passengers as passengers of several trains are waiting there but trains failed to reach station on time.

Railway Director General Tafazzal Hossain said that some 366 trains are giving services but 166 compartments were added with those trains which are not sufficient.
