Pankaj claims progress in Teesta, LB deal

DHAKA: Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Pankaj Saran on Wednesday claimed about positive progress of Teesta deal and Land Boundary Treaty between Bangladesh and India.

Pankaj Saran claimed this in a meeting with Foreign Affairs Secretary M Shahidul Haque at the secretariat.

Shahidul Haque, after the meeting, told journalists that the third meeting of India-Bangladesh Joint Consultative Commission (JCC) would be held in August or September.

Besides, they talked about Joint Rivers Commission (JRC) meeting and many other unresolved issues, he added.
