The Election Commission (EC) will hold a meeting with law enforcement agencies tomorrow to discuss law and order at polling stations and constituencies, aiming to ensure a free, fair, and participatory national election.
Senior Secretary of the EC Secretariat, Akhtar Ahmed, briefed reporters about the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 10:30 am on Sunday at the EC Secretariat in the capital’s Agargaon area.
“All organisations involved in maintaining law and order — including the army, air force, navy, and other relevant agencies — have been invited,” Akhtar said. “Discussions will focus on ensuring security and discipline throughout the election process.”
The meeting will be chaired by Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal, with other election commissioners also in attendance.
