Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) have deployed SWAT teams, bomb disposal squads, and intelligence personnel to ensure the peaceful celebration of the Ratha Yatra on June 27.

DMP Commissioner SM Sazzat Ali confirmed extensive security measures, including CCTV installation and plainclothes officers monitoring the event. 

The main procession will be held by ISKCON at Swamibag Ashram, with similar celebrations at other temples.

Organizers are urged to start and end on time, avoid loudspeakers during prayers, and ask participants not to carry bags. Volunteers will help maintain order.

A coordination meeting was held with top officials from DMP and other agencies to finalize the security plan.

The police called on everyone to stay alert and promised full security for the festival.
