The 126th birth anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam will be observed across the country tomorrow (May 25) with various programmes.

A three-day event themed "Mass Uprising of the 24: Inheritance of Kazi Nazrul" will begin on May 25 in Cumilla. 

The celebrations include cultural performances, poetry recitations, and the Nazrul Awards for 2023 and 2024.

Chief Adviser Prof Muhammad Yunus paid tribute in a message today, highlighting Nazrul’s enduring influence on the nation’s struggles and cultural heritage.
