DHAKA: A person was killed as a bus hit him in capital’s Sayedabad area on Wednesday morning.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ripon, 32, driver of a minibus.

Owner of the minibus Abdul Hamid told banglanews that a bus of Anabil Paribahan hit Ripon at 11:00am while he was crossing road after parking his minibus in Syedabad bridge area, leaving him injured critically.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where duty doctor declared him dead.
