A man was arrested along with 205 yaba tablets in Rajshahi City on Thursday (Nov 25).

The arrestee was identified as Motiur Rahman, 55, of Balia area under Kasiadanga Police Station of Rajshahi metropolis.

According to police sources, acting on a tip-off, a team of Detective Branch of Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) conducted a drive at the Kasiadanga area around 8.30 am and arrested the person with a bag containing 205 pieces of yaba.

A case was lodged against him under the Drugs Control Act with Kasiadanga police station, police added.
